Local SEO & Google Business Profile Program
Rank in the map pack for the queries that actually drive walk-ins and calls. GBP optimization, review velocity, geo-grid rank tracking, and category-suppression detection — the full local stack, one monthly program.
Program from $500/mo
Multi-location pricing available. Final scope after discovery call.
Most "Local SEO" is a GBP quick-fix and a stack of citations submitted to directories no one has visited since 2014. It moves the needle for a month, then flatlines. Real Local SEO is a monthly system.
This program covers the four things that actually decide map-pack ranking: a properly configured Google Business Profile (category, services, description, photos, posts), review velocity (how often new reviews come in, not just how many), local schema and location pages on your site, and a geo-grid rank tracker so you know exactly which queries are moving where.
It also catches the thing most Local SEO agencies miss: category suppression. When Google silently demotes a listing because a category re-classification flipped, most agencies never notice. We monitor for it across a geo-grid and flag it inside a week.
One monthly fee. Real dashboard. Reported every 30 days.
What You Get
GBP Optimization
Category strategy (primary + secondary), services with descriptions, business info, weekly posts, photo cadence, Q&A monitoring, product listings.
Review Velocity System
Post-service review-request flow with smart routing. Response templates. Review-velocity monitoring for anomalies (competitor spam, negative clusters).
Geo-Grid Rank Tracking
Share of Local Voice (SoLV) tracked across a real geographic grid — not just one query, one location. See exactly where you show up and where you do not.
Local Schema
LocalBusiness + Service + geo + hours + reviews + FAQ schema on every relevant page. Structured for map-pack ranking and AI-answer citation.
Citation & NAP Audit
Cross-platform Name/Address/Phone consistency check. Google, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, top 30 citations. Fixes filed monthly.
Category Suppression Detection
The invisible killer. When SoLV flatlines identically across a grid, it is usually category. We monitor and flag it inside a week.
How It Works
Baseline Audit
One-time deep audit: GBP configuration, review history, geo-grid baseline for 5-10 target queries, citation health, NAP consistency, local schema coverage. $1,500 flat.
Fix the Foundation
GBP re-categorized and completed, missing local schema shipped, top NAP inconsistencies patched, review flow deployed. Usually 2-3 weeks after audit.
Monthly Program
Ongoing: weekly GBP posts, review requests firing, geo-grid re-tracked, monthly citation additions, monthly report. Suppression monitor runs continuously.
Quarterly Review
Every 90 days: what moved, what did not, what the map pack looks like now, and what we adjust for the next quarter. Real numbers, not vanity metrics.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long before Local SEO shows results?
GBP fixes (category, services, description, photos) can move rankings inside 2-3 weeks. Review velocity effects show in 30-60 days. Broader map-pack ranking changes for competitive queries take 3-6 months. We baseline everything at kickoff so you can see the movement week by week.
How is Local SEO different from regular SEO?
Regular SEO ranks pages in the ten blue links. Local SEO ranks businesses in the map pack — the three-business box that appears above blue links for local queries ("plumber near me", "coffee shop henderson"). Different ranking factors: proximity, category, review count, review velocity, GBP completeness, category-consistent citations. Overlapping fixes: schema, speed, mobile UX. We do both, but this service is the local piece.
Do you handle reviews?
We build the system that generates reviews, not the reviews themselves. Post-service SMS or email flow with a smart router that sends 4-5 star customers to Google and lower-rated ones to an internal channel first. Response templates for the owner to use. We monitor review velocity and flag anomalies (competitor review spam, sudden negative clusters). You still own the customer relationship.
What if I have multiple locations?
Multi-location adds complexity: one GBP per location, category consistency, location page architecture on the site, aggregated review reporting. Pricing scales — the base $500/mo covers up to two locations, additional locations add $200/mo each. We handle chains up to about 30 locations before it becomes a different conversation.
How do you measure Local SEO results?
Four metrics: (1) map-pack visibility across a geo-grid (SoLV — Share of Local Voice), (2) GBP direction requests, calls, and website clicks from GBP Insights, (3) branded and non-branded map-pack search volume in GSC, (4) actual leads and revenue attributed via UTM. We report monthly with all four.
What is "category suppression" and why does it matter?
When your GBP primary category flips (or gets misclassified), Google can silently suppress you from the map pack for your key queries even though everything looks fine in Insights. It is one of the most common invisible killers in Local SEO. We monitor for it — when SoLV goes flat for identical query pairs across a grid, that is the signal. We saw it happen on a client account this year and caught it inside a week.
