Shibam Coffee — an authentic Yemeni coffee shop opening in Philadelphia's University City neighborhood — needed a web presence that honored their heritage while competing in a dense college-area coffee market near Drexel and Penn. We designed a heritage-inspired website that blends authentic Yemeni design elements — mud-brick tower motifs from the city of Shibam, a warm terracotta and navy palette, and Montserrat typography matching their ordering app — with modern web performance. The site features a video hero background with processed B-roll, Supabase-powered email capture for pre-launch signups, an MDX blog system for ongoing content, and full local SEO setup including LocalBusiness schema, Open Graph tags, and a targeted sitemap.
